On this page, you witness our improvement journey and raising awareness of the Lignopure. We hope that these actions serve as a source of inspiration to many more to take action to reduce water contamination!

Introducing Lignopure
On December 20th, we created an Instagram account for Lignopure, which reached 225 accounts.

First Visit to University
On December 25th, we visited the Dicle University Biochemistry Faculty to discuss Lignopure.

Designing Informative Booklets
On December 30th, we started designing informative booklets in three languages (English, Turkish, Kurdish) to introduce the Lignopure project.

Laboratory Work
On January 2nd, we had our second visit to Dicle University and started working on Lignopure in the biochemistry laboratory. We started our tests on agricultural waste.

Results of the Work
On January 8th, we had our third visit to Dicle University and continued working on Lignopure—testing its adsorption capacity on two industrial dyes and a nickel solution. The solution has shown a 90,07% dye adsorption and %80,4 nickel adsorption, as a result.

Website
During March and April, we designed a Lignopure website that aims to cover the project, our process, and the impact of our project.

Elazig Conference
On May 3, we gave a conference to elementary school students in Elazig, marking the first stage of our mission to transfer the effects of climate change and global warming under the education curriculum in communities along the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

Batman Conference
On May 8, we continued with a conference for secondary school students in Batman, the second destination city.
